Typical Uses:
As a primer to seal oil and chemical contaminated substrates, prior to application of self-levelling cementitious screeds, epoxy floor paints and epoxy screeds.
Being solvent-free and with very low odour, OT Primer is the ideal concrete floor primer for use in engineering and mechanical workshops and production areas, warehouses and showrooms, as well as more sensitive areas such as food processing plants, kitchens, hospitals, schools and animal environments.
Please note: OT Primer should not be applied where the relative humidity is greater than 75%.
Typical Substrates:
OT Primer may be applied direct to most substrates, including old and new concrete, wood, stone, terrazzo, brick and block.

Product Use
Since 1991, Polycote have laid millions of square metres of epoxy floor paints and coatings in almost every environment throughout the UK.
OT Primer is applied to seal oil and chemical contaminated substrates, prior to application of self-levelling cementitious screeds, epoxy floor paints and epoxy screeds.
Being solvent-free and with very low odour, OT Primer is the ideal concrete floor primer for use in sensitive areas such as food processing plants, kitchens, hospitals, schools and animal environments. However, please note that OT Primer should not be applied where the residual moisture content is greater than 75% RH.
Whilst OT Primer is extremely strong and will withstand extremely heavy traffic it is recommended to be over-coated with an appropriate top-coat. The reason for this is to protect the OT Primer from surface impact or abrasion, as such damage could cause a break in the oil/damp barrier.
