Product Use
Since 1991, Polycote have laid millions of square metres of epoxy floor paints and coatings in almost every environment throughout the UK.
DPM Primer is a system for substrates that have a residual moisture level greater than 75% RH. In particular, this can include permanently damp concrete floors or where the DPM (Damp Proof Membrane) is ineffective or missing.
Whilst DPM Primer is extremely strong and will withstand extremely heavy traffic it is recommended to be over-coated with an appropriate top coat. The reason for this is to protect the DPM Primer from surface impact or abrasion, as such damage could cause a break in the damp barrier.
If using over under-floor heating, please call our Technical Helpline to confirm suitability.
