Flexiline is a road marking system based on pre-formed lines, symbols and letters manufactured from modified BS3262 thermoplastic.
Flexiline Tack Coat is used to improve adhesion and create a tough, long lasting solution to linemarking.
- Used to improve adhesion
- Ideal where Flexiline is being applied to smooth or concrete surfaces
- 750ml Aerosol (Each can should have enough coverage for approximately nine x 5m rolls of Flexiline.)
Typical Uses
Flexiline Tack Coat is ideal where Flexiline is being applied to smooth or concrete surfaces.
Colour
Flexiline Tack Coat is clear when dry.
Packaging
Flexiline Tack Coat is supplied in easy-to-use 750ml aerosol cans.
Preparation
Flexiline Tack Coat will not adhere to surfaces which are contaminated by loose debris, mud, oil, dust, grease or where surface water is present. Sweep and clean the area thoroughly. Dry out any surface wetness using a gas torch.
If application is onto new asphalt, we advise that it is left for at least 6-8 weeks to settle.
If any doubt as to the substrate should arise, complete a test patch before continuing.
Application
Shake can thoroughly for at least 90 seconds before use. Flexiline Tack Coat should be applied by simply spraying the surface that the Flexiline will be applied to. Coverage will vary depending on the density and porosity of the substrate. Continue priming until saturation is achieved and a thin, continuous resin film is formed. Highly porous substrates may require a second coat of primer.
Application Temperature
Surface Temperature Range should be between 0ËšC and 40ËšC.
