  • High-quality flexible fully acrylic formula
  • Adheres strongly to concrete roof tiles and cement fibre roof tiles
  • Prevents the growth of moss and lichen etc
  • UV light resistant and light-fast
  • Excellent colour retention

Compared to other roof paints on the market, Roof Tile Coat is a high-quality, low-odour paint. It is a water-based 100% acrylic coating designed to seal and protect roof tiles against weathering and degeneration. Designed to ensure our roof paint offers damage resilience.

Light-fast and durable with a semi-matt finish, our roof tile paint reduces the porosity of the roof tile surface, limiting water penetration for reduced roof load when wet, and preventing the cracking of tiles caused by freeze-thaw cycles. It also inhibits the growth of moss and lichen on untreated roofs and binds loose friable surfaces, preventing the accumulation of sand in the gutters.

Reduces porosity causing freeze-thaw cracking of tiles and seals loose roofing materials. UV resistant and light fast our roof tile paint can withstand a pressure washer. It also inhibits the growth of moss and lichen and binds loose friable surfaces, preventing the accumulation of sand in the gutters. Roof tile coat is the perfect answer for giving a new look to an old roof and is used extensively in refurbishment projects to create a smart uniform appearance over old/new tile.

Typical uses

In addition to its protective properties described above, Roof Tile Coat is perfect for giving a newly painted roof effect to an old roof structure and is used extensively in renovation projects for both technical and aesthetic reasons. It provides a water-repellent surface and is ideal for creating a smart uniform appearance over an undesirable contrast of old and new roof tiles, such as on an extension or other roof space.

Suitable substrates

Our roof tile paint is formulated to adhere to porous surfaces, concrete and fibre cement exterior roof tiles, including clay roof tiles. It should not be used on painted surfaces or high-density/low-suction substrates such as glazed brick & tiles, engineering bricks and natural slate tiles.

Colour and packaging

Roof Tile Coat is available in a range of 7 bs colours, including battleship grey, light grey, and rustic red and is supplied in 15L drums.

A long-term solution at a fraction of the cost of re-tiling!
