Duragrip Adhesive Sealant is a high-performance, solvent-free sealant and adhesive designed to bond GRP (Glass Reinforced Plastic) to a wide range of surfaces, including metal, wood, concrete, and brick. It remains flexible once cured, is resistant to weather, UV, and chemicals, and performs reliably in both wet and dry conditions.

Typical Applications

  • Bonding GRP nosings, stair treads, decking strips, and flat sheets
  • Sealing vertical expansion joints
  • Durable bonding for structural and architectural applications
  • General-purpose sealant for construction and maintenance

Coverage: Approximately 14 linear meters per 380ml cartridge
Shelf life: 12 months in unopened original packaging stored in cool, dry conditions.
Colours: White, black and grey
Material: Polymer rubber
Application temperature: +5°C to +35°C
Service temperature: -40°C to +120°C
Chemical resistance: Resistant to most dilute acids and alkalis. Organic solvents may cause swelling and loss of adhesion. Strong cleaning agents may deteriorate surface.
UV resistance: Very good

Surface Preparation
Ensure all surfaces are clean, dry (or slightly damp), and free from dust, oil, grease, and loose material. Do not apply on surfaces with standing water.
Application Instructions

  1. Cut the cartridge tip carefully.
  2. Attach the nozzle and cut to required bead size.
  3. Apply using a standard sealant gun.
  4. For bonding GRP products, apply 1–2 continuous beads to the back and press firmly into place immediately.
