Cretex Deepfill is a magnesium phosphate based cementitious floor repair mortar incorporating an advanced blend of pre-mixed aggregates and cements.
Its specialist formulation achieves an extremely fast cure at low temperatures, with very rapid strength build up.
Its fast curing characteristics make Cretex Deepfill ideal for industrial floor areas, loading bays and warehouses. Around fixing bolts, raising and levelling manhole covers, gratings, hydrants etc. Also excellent for roads, bridge decks, quays and crane rails.
Cretex Deepfill may be applied to both dry & damp surfaces.
Suitable substrates: Cretex Deepfill is designed primarily for use on concrete. The product is chloride free and may safely be used in contact with cast iron and steelwork.
Colour: Cretex Deepfill is grey in colour
Packaging: Cretex Deepfill is supplied in 28kg units.

Pot life: 10 minutes @ 20°C
Application temperature: Normal application temperature is between 5˚C and 30˚C.
For colder environments down to –20˚C minimum, pre-heating may be necessary as described under ‘Mixing’ above, and the repair may require insulated covering.
Compressive strength: 60 minutes – 22N/mm², 3 hours – 33N/mm², 2 days – 44N/mm², 28 days – 53N/mm²
Application thickness: The minimum application thickness is 20mm.
Number of parts supplied: 2
Priming required: No

Please consult the technical data sheet for full technical product data.

Preparation:
Thorough substrate preparation is essential.
The surface must be free of and loose / friable material, laitance, and any further contaminants that may prevent adhesion. Any remains of previous coatings should be removed by means of scabbling, shot-blasting, diamond grinding and/or steam cleaning.
Edges should be cut back to a minimum recommended depth of 10mm-50mm. Joints should be cut to 25mm.
Any exposed steel should be completely uncovered and abraded to a bright finish, and any rust or corrosion removed and primed with Polycote Rustex.Priming of concrete is not required, however the surface should be dampened to reduce suction.

Mixing:
Cretex Deepfill should be mixed using a mixing paddle attached to a drill. Slowly add the Cretex Deepfill powder to the pre-measured supplied liquid. Mix for approximately 2-3 minutes.Ensure thorough mixing as an unmixed product will result in a poor or non-cure situation.

Application:
Priming is not required. However, to ensure satisfactory bonding to the substrate, the prepared surface should be dampened down to minimise suction.Fill and level the area to be repaired ensuring good compaction of the product. The product should be levelled to a flush finish with the surrounding area using a trowel or float. If a stiffer consistency is required, some of the product should be pre-worked into the substrate using a stiff broom and then the bulk of the product poured in the repair.
