Can we just start by saying that no paint is designed and sold for filling holes. Yes, in theory paint can fill a hole but in reality, you tend to apply just as much paint to the ‘hills’ as you do the ‘hollows’ and the net result is that it is extremely difficult to fill the hole so that it is unnoticeable. It is MUCH better if the holes and or cracks are filled with a floor filler or repair material. For this we have Polycote Easifil which is excellent for very small holes and fine cracks. We have Cretex EP which is an easy to use two part epoxy floor repair that can feather edge to nothing. Finally, we also have Crackfiller EP100 which is an ultra-low viscosity pure epoxy resin that is designed to flow into and fill surface cracks. As a final point, our floor repair products are far better suited to fill holes and in fact a far cheaper alternative than using ‘paint’, when pricing kilo for kilo.
