Typical Uses
Flortex® Cold Cure extremely low odour and is excellent for cold stores, food areas, breweries, dairies, laboratories, supermarkets and offices.
Suitable Substrates
Flortex® Cold Cure is designed for application to concrete surfaces and other cementitious screeds.
Colour
Flortex® Cold Cure is available in a range of 14 standard colours, other colours available, please ask.
Packaging
Flortex® Cold Cure is supplied in pre-measured quantities as a two part 15kg unit comprising an acrylic resin Part ‘A’ and hardener Part ‘B’.

Application temperature: Must not be applied if the ambient temperature is below 0°C and the surface temperature must be above 0°C and free from condensation.
Coverage per 15kg unit: 40-60m²
Note: This is dependent on the texture and porosity of the substrate.
Curing times: Approximately 15 minutes.
Curing takes place within 36 hrs at 5°C, 18-24 hrs at 5°C and 12-18 hrs at 10°C.
Surface Preparation
The substrate should must be clean, sound, dry and fully cured. Remove all dirt, oil, grease or other surface contaminants by shot blasting or mechanical means.
Mixing
BEFORE MIXING THIS PRODUCT YOU MUST BE TOTALLY PREPARED.
Having fully prepared the substrate, stir the individual components before mixing together. As pigment may ‘sink’, ensure that the mixing is very
thorough and from the bottom of the container. Add Part ‘B’ to Part ‘A’ and thoroughly mix for at least 3 minutes.
For best results use a heavy duty slow speed drill with a mixing paddle.
Ensure thorough mixing as an unmixed product will result in a poor or non-cure situation.
Application
Once the product is thoroughly mixed, APPLY IMMEDIATELY using a brush or roller, making sure the area is completely covered. When finished,
DO NOT scrape the remaining contents from the container as this will invariably include unmixed raw resin.

Coverage
The coverage of Flortex® Cold Cure is between 40-60m² per 15kg unit, depending on the texture and porosity of the substrate.
Cleaning
Tools and equipment should be cleaned whilst product is still wet with Solvent Cleaner. Hands and skin should be cleaned immediately with Organic Hand Cleaner.
Shelf Life and Storage
The shelf life of Flortex® Cold Cure in unopened containers is approximately 12 months subject to conditions of storage. Store in a cool, dry environment, out of direct sunlight, not below 15°C.
