Typical Uses
Cleargrip™ Twin Pack may be applied to wash rooms, kitchens and most tiled/coated areas.
Suitable Substrates
Cleargrip™ Twin Pack may be applied to tiled or painted floors and walls.
Do not apply to bricks, terracotta tiles, renderings, aluminium, steel, zinc, stainless steel or bare wood.
Colour
Cleargrip™ Twin Pack is a clear, colourless coating.
Packaging
Cleargrip™ Twin Pack is supplied in pre-measured quantities as a two part 7kg unit, comprising resin Part ‘A’ and hardener Part ‘B’.
Coverage
The coverage of Cleargrip™ Twin Pack is 30-45m² per 7kg unit, depending on the texture and porosity of the substrate.
Cleaning
Tools and equipment should be cleaned whilst resin is still wet using warm soapy water. Hands and skin should be cleaned immediately with Organic Hand Cleaner.
Shelf Life and Storage
Shelf life in unopened containers is approximately 12 months subject to conditions of storage. Store in a cool, dry, frost-free environment away from sources of ignition at temperatures between 5°C and 35°C.
Please consult the technical data sheet for full technical product data.
Application temperature: Above +5˚C. Relative humidity should be below 80%. Ensure adequate ventilation.
Coverage per 5kg unit: 30-45m²
Note: Depending on the texture and porosity of the substrate.
Curing times: Once mixed is approximately 2.5 hours at 10˚C, 2 hours at 20°C and 1 hour at 30°C.
Initial curing takes place within 2 hours, and the coating is rain resistant after approximately 4 hours and re-coatable after 5 hours. Full cure and maximum chemical resistance is achieved after 2 days at +20˚C, or 4 days at +10˚C.
Surface Preparation
The surface must be clean, dry and free of oil or grease. Glossy and satin surfaces should be slightly abraded to provide a surface key.
Mixing
Having fully prepared the substrate, stir the individual components before mixing together. Add Part ‘B’ to Part ‘A’ and thoroughly mix for at least 3 minutes. For best results use a heavy duty slow speed drill with a mixing paddle. Allow the mixture to settle for 5 minutes or until foaming has cleared.
ENSURE THOROUGH MIXING AS AN UNMIXED PRODUCT WILL RESULT IN A POOR OR NON-CURE SITUATION.
Application
Apply undiluted by brush, short nap roller or spray. For airless spray use 09-013 nozzle and 120-180 bars pressure.
One coat is normally sufficient but porous substrates may require a second coat, which should be applied after a minimum of 5 hours drying time.
