Our experienced teams of installers are highly experienced in the application of 6-9mm polyurethane resin screeds and also roller applied epoxy resin coatings. We understand that there are certain factors in a kitchen that the floors will need to be excellent at resisting. Some of the key points are: Heat from ovens, impact, extensive washing down, cleaning chemicals and detergents and of course food and alcohol products.

Epoxy resin floor paints

In so many kitchen environments the perfect solution to meet all of the hygiene standards required and achieve an easy-to-clean, tough and long-lasting floor finish is to apply a quality, solvent free, high build epoxy resin floor coating.

Even if the floor has been previously coated or has been contaminated with oil and grease, we can thoroughly prepare your floor and install quality coatings that will help you overcome your concerns and create a slip-resistant, food-safe environment.

Epoxy resins are incredibly hard wearing and can be used with almost every type of cleaning method and with their incredible chemical and water-resistance the coatings will provide a sealed and easy-to-clean finish.

6-9mm polyurethane screeds

6-9mm polyurethane screeds are also very commonly used in the food industry flooring and some of the common factors that are considered are:

  • High volumes of footfall or traffic
  • Is the floor subject to temperatures higher than +50C
  • Is there floor consistently covered with standing water
  • A high chance things will be dropped on the floor resulting in impact damage
  • If there are lots and lots of floor repairs required it can be quicker and easier to apply a screed of over the floor and save downtime or process steps but ensure, as high, or higher quality of finish.

We will help you to find the right solution for your application and our site inspection staff will be able to offer advice from long proven experience.
