Project overview
The warehouse was structurally sound but ‘old and tired’ from continuous heavy industrial use. The floors were dusting, cracked and damaged with protruding bolts. The brief was to re-fresh the area and provide a tough and impervious floor. A surface that would withstand heavy forklift and pallet truck use and be easy to maintain and clean.
Specification.
Over two days we prepared the floor by vacuum assisted diamond grinding and then applied a primer using OT Primer to deal with the grease contamination. We carried out localised repairs using Easi-Fil and applied a topcoat using Flortex Professional XFH to endure the floor for usable the following day.
